Heater Retrofit Assembly

  

Client Need:

Customer needed to improve reliability, consistency, and longevity of an existing process,   while maintaining thermal equivalency.

3-D Engineering Solution:

3-D Engineering conducted testing to capture thermal properties of existing unit. 3-D Engineering then developed and built a retrofit kit that utilized a determinate sequence of motions as well as a floating heater mount and an improved wear surface.

Results:

3-D Engineering provided prototypes with an equivalency validation in form of a subsystem kit to upgrade existing production systems, as well as a vaulted Level 3 documentation package including data sheets of OTS components, drawings, solid models, and Bill of material.
