Client Need:

Required a method to conduct testing of Compact PCI format circuit card assemblies. Unit is "Hot Swap" capable allowing dual redundant systems to remain available during repair.

3-D Engineering Solution:

3- D Engineering composed a high power capacity extender card that allowed in-situ testing and debug while in the system providing full access to all signals.

Results:

3-D Engineering designed/produced a 6U x 160mm front and 6U x 80mm rear Extender Card that can be used for testing and support up to 32 and 64 bit transfers.
